Simply loved this mission, and the image has been in my head ever since Sari posted the theme for week 3!
There are several ways of interpreting this picture, all of them as good as the next one. One thing is certain, thou - I've been spending much too much time with Catherine (the video game)...
Colour coming as soon as I manage to find the time!
*UPDATE*
Here's an update to Alice, started colouring now...
*UPDATE*
All the ground colour almost there...
*UPDATE*
Now starting to work on details.
*UPDATE*
Getting there... soon!
The way that image manages to be disturbing and lovely at the same time is ingenious <3
ReplyDeleteAnd I hope this means that the flu is finally gone?
ReplyDeleteThanks!!! Your comment made my day!
ReplyDeleteThe flu is gone, the cough is still there, but I'm back in the land of the living! It was just as you said...
ReplyDeleteI'm glad if it did :) I've always loved it when opposites like that are combined into one piece of art. And when it's done as well as you did it here... <3 <3 <3
ReplyDeleteI wished that you'd have a different strain of the flu but apparently not. It took me closer to a month to get rid of the flu and am still wheezing a bit. With the risk of sounding like a 5 yr old: it suuucks!
yap, it really does (another 5-year-old)! now some Devil May Cry doujinshi ;D
ReplyDeleteOoooh, steps! I love steps!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to figure out some smart way to comment on this and explain why I love steps so much but I'm so tired all I can do is let out little meeping sounds and proudly point at the screen telling Sippo: "Steps!!" :D
Saw your steps and felt inspired! I, too, love steps and sketches. Maybe I should have done it more thoroughly... well, there's always next time.
